CSA Share Details
We
are offering two types of produce shares, a Standard
Market Share for those finicky eaters, and an Epicurean
Share. The shares will be available in two sizes, a
full share and a half share. A full share typically
satisfies the needs of two vegetarians or four people
of mixed diet. Your weekly box will have an assortment
of Leaf crops, fruiting vegetables, root vegetables,
onion crops and herbs. Please see our vegetable calendar
for expected harvest dates. You will also receive a
weekly news letter explaining what is in the box, along
with recipes, and a brief to what is happening on the
farm.
Summer Harvest - 18 Weeks - End of June through October
This eighteen week harvest will include items from the
list below. Weight 12-20 lb.

Green Cabbage, Red Cabbage, Broccoli, Brussels

Snap Beans, Shelling and Sweet Peas, Lima Beans,

Will include all items in smaller portions from
the Standard Market plan plus Specialty Head Lettuce,
Arugula, Swiss Chard, Sorrel, Scallions, Leeks,
Okra, Specialty Cabbage, Specialty Fresh and Dried
Beans, Edamame, Tomatillo, Eggplant, Fennel, Specialty
Melons, Celeriac, Specialty Cucumbers, Purple Hull
Peas, Baby Corn, Specialty Popcorn, and Edible Flowers.

Squash/Storage
Vegetable Harvest - 4 Weeks - November through December
Weekly boxes of Winter Squash, potatoes, and garlic
make a great addition to end the season. Weight 12-25

This Year: Certified Organic Fruit Share Program
Because
our farm is located in the Midwest, there is a limited
amount of fruit we can grow and offer to you. New this
year you will be able to purchase fruit grown by family
farms like ours. We are collaborating with a very reputable
wholesale organic produce distributor. This local company
is family owned and seeks out only the best fruit. They
are doing their part to reduce fossil fuels by seeking
out the most local organic growers. Please see the Fruit
